Construction for Phase 4 the City of Lake Lillian’s Utility Improvements Project began August 2024. The locations of activities associated with Phase 4 of the project are shown on the map and the work to be completed consists of replacement of watermains, sanitary and storm sewers, and the repaving of affected roadways. Most of this work will occur during the summer/fall of 2024 and spring of 2025.
The following is a summary of the preliminary project schedule:
During construction, there will be some additional heavy truck and equipment traffic coming through town. It will be necessary to close streets partially or completely to vehicular traffic for your safety. Street parking may also be restricted at some times and in certain areas.
Watermain replacement will require temporary watermains to provide water access throughout construction as watermains are taken offline for replacement. During key connections, you may experience brief water service interruptions and temporary changes in water quality as sediment in the pipe is disturbed by construction.
The City of Lake Lillian, Contractors, and Bollig Engineering ask that everyone stay clear of construction zones, obey construction signs, and be safe and cautious around construction equipment.
