Job Responsibilities
- Become an integral part of the Bollig design team to progress the design and construction of drinking water, wastewater, and storm water systems, streets, and airports from start to finish.
- Provide professional civil engineering services in all aspects of municipal projects including design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of contractors and consultants, etc.
- Participate in various design and construction meetings required for municipal, land development, and aviation projects, including design meetings with clients and sub-consultants, pre-bid and construction meetings with contractors and equipment suppliers as required
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and ensure projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget
- Provide periodic onsite observation supervision during construction to ensure adherence to design specifications and collaborate with contractors and construction teams to resolve any technical issues that may arise.
- Maintain client relationships and communications and provide regular updates on project progress and address client concerns promptly
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to contribute new ideas to the team
- Travel as required for project meetings, client meetings, or to construction sites
- Maintain/obtain required certifications and attend training as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Competencies Desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineer licensure in Minnesota or another state
- Strong academic performance with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and a passion for civil engineering
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic work environment
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools
- Ability to lead and communicate effectively at different organization levels and work collaboratively in a team-setting
- Self-motivated, coachable, and determined with an aptitude to manage multiple projects simultaneously and the capacity to quickly adapt as necessary.
- Ability to provide a positive project experience for clients and stakeholders
- Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

Salary Range: $75,000 – $120,000 depending on years of
experience and credentials
