In a September 18, 2023 press release from the Governor Walz Press Office, it was announced that 36 cities, townships or counties across Greater Minnesota will receive nearly $24 Million in Small Cities Development Program (SCDP) grants. Congratulations to all the grant recipients, especially the eight cities who are Bollig Engineering clients!
As an engineering firm dedicated to small cities, we are also committed to helping our clients obtain the funding to assist their cities with their goals and needs. Bollig Engineering is proud to have authored seven successful grant applications and collaborated on an eighth application with United Community Action Partnership (UCAP) for a total of over $5.3 Million in grant funding. Laura Ostlie, Funding Program Manager at Bollig Engineering, emphasized the significance of these grants, stating, “Leveraging funding opportunities for our communities is the goal of the Bollig team every time. DEED’s SCDP Grant provides a complimentary gap funding option that can get a project across the fully funded finish line.”
