Recognized as One of the AEC Industry’s Best Managed Firms for the Third Consecutive Year and Eighth Time Overall
Bollig Engineering, a civil engineering firm specializing in small cities, has been named to PSMJ Resources, Inc.’s 2026 AEC Circle of Excellence. This marks the firm’s third consecutive year and eighth time overall receiving the distinction.
Bollig is one of 61 architecture and engineering firms recognized this year. The Circle of Excellence represents the top 20 percent of participants based on nine key performance metrics. These measures recognize outstanding achievements in areas including staff growth, cash flow, productivity, business development, profitability, overhead management, and turnover.
For Bollig, this recognition reinforces its commitment to serving small communities with practical, affordable infrastructure solutions. Its team works with city leaders, public works staff, and airport managers to plan infrastructure improvements, identify funding opportunities, and develop practical solutions that fit local priorities and budgets.

“Small cities deserve a team that understands their challenges and cares about their future,” said Brian Bollig, P.E., President at Bollig Engineering. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our employees and the care they bring to their work. We’re proud to build a strong firm while staying focused on what matters most: helping communities move forward with practical, affordable solutions.”
Members of Bollig’s leadership team attended PSMJ’s 2026 THRIVE conference in Scottsdale, Arizona (Oct. 22-23, 2026).
