Descripción general del proyecto/objetivos

Lamberton’s Grove Street project consists of replacing one block of sanitary sewer, two blocks of watermain, and four blocks of street reconstruction, including curb & gutter, driveway aprons, and sump pump service lines. Most of this work will occur during the Summer of 2026, with final layer of pavement and turf restoration expected in Spring/Summer of 2027.

  • Replace 1 block of sanitary sewer that is old and in bad condition
  • Replace 2 blocks of watermain that are old and in bad condition
  • Reconstruct 4 blocks of street, including curb & gutter, driveway aprons, and sump pump service lines

The map shows areas that will be directly affected by construction activities. During construction, expect to see heavy truck and equipment traffic, closed streets, and limited street parking at times. Turf restoration of disturbed areas, such as lawn grading and seeding, will also take place. Your efforts in helping water newly seeded areas will promote growth of a thicker, healthy lawn faster. Watermain replacement will require temporary watermains to provide water access to system users throughout construction as watermains are taken offline for replacement. During key connections, residents may experience brief water service interruptions and temporary changes in water quality as pipe is disturbed by construction.

Horario previsto

  • Mid-July 2026: Contractor Starts
  • Fall 2026:  All underground work and the first layer of street pavement completed
  • Spring/Summer 2027: Final layer of pavement and turf restoration
